All insurance products are not created equal. When it comes to protecting the most important things to you, the last thing you want to hear is that your valuables aren't insured for their actual value if they are lost, stolen, or damaged.
While standard homeowner's policies are designed to protect your home and its contents, there is sometimes limited coverage for valuable possessions that may be lost, stolen, or damaged, such as jewellery, fine art, wine and spirits, bicycles, and antiques.
With a Chubb Masterpiece® policy, you can protect the special valuable items that are important to you and your valuables are automatically covered no matter where you go in the world.
We can design a program that covers all items under a single blanket limit with a specified limit per item. In the event of a loss, your valuable item(s) will be replaced or repaired up to the insured limit.
If a valuable item is irreparably damaged or lost, you can choose to accept cash instead of replacing it if that is more convenient for you. If a value with itemised cover is damaged and suffers a loss in market value, as a result, Chubb will pay up to the insured amount for the loss in market value.
Do I need to inform Chubb of every new item I purchase?
If you have itemised valuables covered under your policy, newly purchased items of the same category will automatically be covered up to 25% of their total value.
You have 90 days to request for these items to be included in the policy. (additional premium is applicable)
